Jerrilyn Lanier Duckworth

(She/her) People’s Light debut. Jerrilyn Lanier Duckworth is the Founder and Creator of Bridging the Gap: A Look into African American Hair & Makeup for Theatre. She is a freelance Costume, Hair & Makeup Designer. Theatre Includes: Jerrilyn’s designs have been on the stages of the Coastal Carolina University, Ensemble Theatre in Cincinnati, and Indiana Repertory Theatre. Jerrilyn also continues her Bridging the Gap work, traveling to different universities to give seminars about hair & makeup issues that plague BIPOC students and performers in the theatre industry. The goal is to create an inclusive environment for all performers. Through her work, Jerrilyn has given over 200 workshops that have been attended by over 3,500 people.
