Rashad McPherson

(He/him) People's Light debut. Rashad McPherson is a performer, musician, composer, and arranger living in New York, NY. Rashad studied music formally as a piano principle and Music Business major at Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA). 
 
Rashad is an ordained minister. He currently serves as the Associate in Ministry and Music at Marble Collegiate Church. There he is also the lead contributor for racial justice programming. 
While living in New York, Rashad has performed at Rockwood Music Hall, Mercury Lounge, National Sawdust, The Schomburg Center, The Groove, Ginny’s Supper Club, and numerous other venues. 
 
Though Rashad began his recording career in Gospel, his most recent music is socio-politically conscious and inspirational, including his recent solo record, Forward. Rashad is currently preparing to release a live, visual performance album recorded at NY Soundstage. Training: Piano principle and Music Business major (Berklee College of Music), Master's degrees at Boston University School of Theology & Union Theological Seminary.
