A Delicate Balance garnered Marcia a Best Supporting Actress Barrymore Award for her role as Claire, and she received a Best Ensemble Barrymore Award for Morning’s at Seven. She has also received numerous Barrymore nominations, including Best Actress for Stella in Stella and Lou and Nancy in A Man from Nebraska.
