"A dazzling theatrical experience"

- The Philadelphia Inquirer

Celebrate 15 years (yowzah!) of People’s Light tradition with our most popular holiday panto! As “the nation’s primary creator of such specialized tomfoolery” (Newsworks), we invite you to cheer our heroes, “boo” the bad guys, and sing along as we transport the magical tale of fairy godmothers and glass slippers to the roaring 1920s.

BUY TICKETS

Make a night of it with dinner at The Farmhouse Bistro next door! Dinner and a Show packages can be purchased online the same way as standard tickets, or by calling the Box Office at 610.644.3500.

Audio Description & Sensory Tour

Audio Description headsets provide commentary on the visual aspects of a performance (the set, costumes, and lighting effects, as well as the physical actions and body language of the actors) for our patrons with visual impairments. This supplemental narration interweaves with the real-time, spoken dialogue, so patrons won’t miss a moment of the performance.

In conjunction with this service, the sensory tour offers the opportunity to experience up close and feel certain key props and costume pieces before the performance begins. Typically 45 min before curtain. Interested patrons should register with the Box Office at 610.644.3500.

What's the Buzz?
"With spectacular theatricality, the holiday show brings everyone together, leaving children gape-mouthed in wonder even as this topsy-turvy fairy tale prompts adults to recall a time when everything was new and magical."
The Philadelphia Inquirer

  • "A dazzling theatrical experience."

"Kids were jumping in their seats, and their older companions were equally delighted with all the glorious disorder."

    "Fourth wall? What fourth wall?"

  • "The gang's all here, for a rollicking good time filled with surprises."

"People's Light cuts no corners... actors are first-rate, particularly Strang's innocent-yet-wise Ella."

"I defy anyone to leave Cinderella without a smile on their face and a skip in their step."

  • "An enchantingly zany spell that's hard to resist."

    "Masters of the genre."

"One theatrical experience that will delight, amuse, and inspire [young people] to come back for more."
