(He/him) Company Artist since 1981. Peter grew up in the resident company of Missouri Rep. 44 of his 57 years in the profession have been at People’s Light: Grand Horizons, Morning’s at Seven, Richard III, The Cherry Orchard, The Winter’s Tale, Six Characters in Search of an Author, Man From Nebraska, King Lear, Sherlock Holmes in two productions, Anne of Green Gables (also adapter), In the Blood, Hard Times, A Christmas Carol (also adapter and director), Romeo & Juliet (also director), three productions of Our Town, and many others. Acted and directed extensively with The Lantern (most recently The Real Thing) and many other local theatres. Played Off-Broadway and on National Tour. With his late wife, actress Ceal Phelan, he co-founded Delaware Theatre Company. Artistic Director of New Stage Theater, Jackson, MS. Awards: Two individual Barrymore Awards and six nominations, many in ensembles.
