A huge THANK YOU and waves of love over the floodlights to Steve for this opportunity, trust, leadership and commitment to collaboration. To my phenomenal A Raisin in the Sun castmates and crew: I am in awe of your work and I feel blessed to have been part of this journey with all of you and witness your work. FAMILY FIRST ❤️ This process was truly a blessing to be a part of. Lorraine Hansberry once said “The supreme test of an artist is the ability to render the infinite variety of the human spirit - which invariably hangs between despair and joy,” and it truly has been a blessing working with every artist that touched this production. I know we are making her proud as we honor her with this piece.

I want to take the time to thank and acknowledge all of the Black and Indigenous warrior women who raised, nurtured, and cared for me. "I Am because You Are." I would like to thank the Creator, my mother, and my Ancestors for always supporting her and instilling in her a strong dedication and commitment to artistry, activism, and the magnetic power of storytelling. Asé.
