Callous Scrooge, shackled Marley, and the haunting spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future spring vividly to life in our fresh adaptation of a favorite yuletide ghost story. Featuring a vibrant mix of original songs and newly arranged nineteenth-century English carols, this music infused retelling captures the magic, joy, and generosity of Dickens’ beloved classic.
Quick thing! For all you People's Light holiday veterans, A Christmas Carol is not a panto. But it is music-filled, interactive fun for every age—whether you believe in spirits or not.
Recommended for ages 8 to 108! Approximate run time is 2 hours and 10 minutes with one 15-minute intermission.
Live performances are sold out BUT you can stream the film version—featuring Ian Merrill Peakes as Ebenezer Scrooge—from December 23-January 6 for $25.
Access to the film (which includes optional closed captioning, American Sign Language interpretation, and audio description) is automatically included for everyone who purchases tickets to the live production. To purchase access to the streaming version of A Christmas Carol only, CLICK HERE.

"My hope with this entire adaptation is there is a vibrant dance happening between 1843 and 2021. . . . I hope people will find the music compelling, surprising, catchy, and sometimes a bit unsettling – just like our ‘A Christmas Carol.’" — Zak Berkman
