2021/2022 Season

The human spirit prevails throughout our 2021/2022 Season. Each of these six productions follows characters, real and imagined, as they emerge from darkness into light, from doubt into hope. Interwoven with song and dance, outrageous humor, and tour de force performances, their stories embody the resilience and power of our shared humanity.

Subscription and single tickets are now on sale! Visit the production pages below to learn more and buy tickets to individual performances. Click here to purchase a 3, 4, 5, or 6-Play Subscription. The more plays you bundle, the steeper the discount, up to 25% off single ticket prices.

Not quite ready to join us in person? While we are thrilled to return to in-person programming, we recognize that many continue to benefit from digitally streamed theatre. We want to reach audiences wherever they are—including at home! A filmed version of A Christmas Carol will be available to stream right here at We hope to offer more digital access to titles throughout the season. Click here for more info.

We take health and safety seriously. At this time, masks are required indoors for everyone who visits People's Light, regardless of vaccination status. Ticket holders must show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID test, along with a valid photo ID, for entry into the theatre. People's Light joins a large group of other theatres in the Philadelphia region in implementing these standardized protocols for the safety of all audience members, staff, and artists. Please read our full Health & Safety protocols before planning your visit.
