Daphne Rubin-Vega (Rent original Broadway cast, In the Heights film) performs with Zonya Love (The Color Purple on Broadway; Lights Out, Spiritual Uprising, and A Christmas Carol at People’s Light) and Mitch Chakour (the “musician’s musician” who’s played with Joe Cocker, B.B. King, Bonnie Raitt, and James Brown just to name a few...) to raise money for important access initiatives at People's Light. Philly's own Alex Bechtel and Jennifer Childs (Alice in Wonderland: A Musical Panto) will play the illustrious roles of emcees!
The performance takes place on the Leonard C. Haas Stage, and is followed by a champagne and dessert reception in the theatre lobby. Tickets for the performance and reception are $125. This event is a part of our Spring Gala - Shine Brighter: Accessibility for All. Higher support levels grant entry at 6pm for dinner in The Farmhouse, and additional benefits.
