Since 1974, People’s Light has established itself as the only professional theatre in Chester County, and is one of the largest in the state. We serve nearly 80,000 people annually. We produce eight to nine plays each season, mixing world premieres, contemporary plays, and fresh approaches to classic texts on our Leonard C. Haas Stage and Steinbright Stage. We engage thousands of young people annually through arts education residencies, theatre classes and youth-friendly performances. Our Farmhouse Bistro and banquet room offer superior venues and catering for corporate events of all kinds.
