Cinderella: A Musical Panto

December 2026

By Kathryn Petersen
Music & Lyrics by Michael Ogborn

A brand-new staging of one of People’s Light’s most beloved pantos, this topsy-turvy version of Cinderella’s classic story returns for the first time since 2018. How does Cinderella carve her own path, follow a dream, and take her future into her own hands? As always, the panto form of musical comedy comes with iconic characters, irreverent whimsy, audience interaction, and contagious joy. In true fractured fairytale style, this form sets expectations – and then injects surprises for all ages at every turn!

Recommended for grades K-12.

Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women

February 2027

By Lauren Gunderson

“Gunderson offers audiences a meta-theatrical glimpse into the novel’s origins, breathing new life into a familiar tale.”
— Stage and Cinema

Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women explores the parallel lives of the author’s own real-life family and the iconic March sisters – Jo, Beth, Meg, and Amy – in a heartwarming coming-of-age tale of empowerment, family, resilience – and the creation of an American literary masterpiece. With Alcott herself center stage, this fresh adaptation is the perfect invitation to discuss how an author’s times impact the art… and how the art impacts the times.

Recommended for grades 6-12.
