For more than 20 years, People’s Light, through Project Discovery, has worked to make the theatre arts an essential part of children’s education and development. Reaching over 25,000 students each year, Project Discovery is a gateway into the intimate and immediate world of theatre. Whether through Project Discovery High School, professional development workshops and school residencies, the Family Discovery Series, Theatre School, or the New Voices program, People’s Light strives to involve youth in everything we do. These programs unleash imaginations and stimulate learning by integrating theatre techniques into school curricula, enhancing literacy skills – improving learning, motivating students, and transforming the lives of our youth.
Please join us at the 2010 Gala in support of this extraordinary program.
