Gina is the Resident Dramaturg at People’s Light, where she has worked on almost thirty productions and been involved in several new play development workshops over five seasons. As a freelance dramaturg, she has worked with companies such as the Arden, Harrisburg Shakespeare Festival, A&E Biographies, GoKash Productions, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where she was granted a Dramaturgy Fellowship in 2006 and a Dramaturgy Residency in 2010. She is a PhD candidate in the University of Maryland’s Department of Theatre, Performance Studies, and Dance, where she received a CTE Distinguished Teaching Assistant Award and an ARHU Travel Grant to present her work at IFTR in Seoul, South Korea. She has also presented at numerous conferences including ASTR, AAA, and PTRS and been a guest lecturer at Villanova University, UMD, and OSF. Her areas of research include contemporary Asian American theater and performance and American dramaturgy. Gina is also a proud Board Member of LMDA (Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas), a wife, and the mother of 2 young children.
