The People's Light & Theatre Company is a non-profit professional theatre in Malvern, PA, in the heart of Chester County. Our seven-acre campus features two black box theatres: the Leonard C. Haas Stage and the Steinbright Stage.
LEONARD C. HAAS STAGE
The Leonard C. Haas Stage, which is part of a beautifully restored 18th-century barn. The two-story lobby has an elevator, an automatic door entrance for wheelchairs and a permanent espresso/cappuccino concessions bar. The Leonard C. Haas Stage theatre has three sections (center, right, and left), is fifteen rows deep and has 340 seats. The theatre has no obstructed views, and no seat is more than 60 feet from the stage. Seating in the Leonard C. Haas Stage is assigned.
The Steinbright Stage is located in the Congdon Center, which is the second building on the People's Light campus. The Congdon Center was recently renovated in 2009 and features a larger lobby and concessions area. The Steinbright Stage is a truly intimate theatre space with 160 seats.
