LEONARD C. HAAS STAGE
The Leonard C. Haas Stage, which is part of a beautifully restored 18th-century barn, is named after Leonard C. Haas, long-time company member and friend of the theatre. This stage was officially names the Leonard C. Haas Stage on July 22, 2013, in recognition of his long term generosity and significant contributions to People's Light. The barn's two-story lobby has an elevator, an automatic door entrance for wheelchairs, a gift shop and a permanent coffee and concessions bar. When in its traditional orientation, the Leonard C. Haas Stage theatre has three sections (center, right, and left), is fifteen rows deep and has 340 seats. The theatre has no obstructed views, and no seat is more than 60 feet from the stage. Seating in the Leonard C. Haas Stage is assigned.
The Steinbright Stage is located in the Congdon Center, which is the second building on the People's Light campus. The Steinbright is named after People's Light supporter Marilyn Steinbright. The Steinbright Stage is a truly intimate theatre space with only 160 seats and 9 rows. It features an accessible lobby with an automatic door, concessions bar and gift shop. The theatre is wheelchair accessible and at the Box Office you can find large print programs, and hearing assistance devices. Seating in the Steinbright Stage is assigned.
