The Three Components: Subscribers, Students, & Theatre-Makers

Students
Teens receive a copy of the script for each play and attend a 2-hour workshop before each performance. In the workshops, teens explore the play with guest artists involved in the production. The workshop is followed by dinner and conversation with the guest artists.

Subscribers
Teens are seated together in the theatre for every production of the season.

Theatre Makers
In Teen Summerstage, our intensive summer component of S.T.E.P., teens create, build and perform an original piece in response to one of the productions in the upcoming season at PLTC. This original piece is built under the guidance of the theatre professionals at PLTC. The exchange between the students and the theatre professionals in the development of an original theatre piece provides true experiential learning for both the students and the teaching artists involved. (There is an additional registration fee for Teen Summerstage.)
