Special Events Bring People's Light Supporters Together

The special events organized at People’s Light provide unique opportunities for our individual and corporate supporters to all come together with a common goal—raising funds and awareness for Arts Discovery! Our supporters interact with our theatre in many entertaining and creative ways. They become part of our extended theatre family; attending and many times helping with special events, while sharing their time and expertise.

Many corporate and individual supporters participate in and become a sponsor of our annual golf tournament, People's Light Golf Classic. The Classic is held every fall and will now be celebrating its 10th anniversary! The 2011 Golf Classic was held on September 27th, 2011 at The ACE Club in Lafayette Hill. People’s Light was happy to return to The ACE Club for the 4th time in the event's history. The Classic raises funds for our comprehensive theatre education program, Arts Discovery. Plans are underway for the 2012 People’s Light Classic to be held on Tuesday, October 2nd, once again at the beautiful ACE Club!

Our hallmark annual event at People’s Light, the Live Auction, continues to be a favorite of our individual supporters and our corporate partners. This event takes on a new flavor every year, reinventing the concept of Live Auction, creating a magical evening for all of our guests. In April 2010 People’s Light celebrated its 35th Anniversary during our Gala and Live Auction. This year’s 2012 Live Auction Cabaret excited and entertained like no event before. Save the date for Friday, April 19th, 2013 as we reinvent The Live Auction! The Live Auction benefits Arts Discovery.
